It is cheaper to live at Sigma Chi than it is to live in the dorms.
The figures in the table show the full semester costs for living in the dorms versus living at Sigma Chi. These costs for Sigma Chi include telephone, utilities, cable (including HBO and Cinemax), free Ethernet access to the Internet (which is 100 times faster than the fastest phone modems), free washer and dryer, and meals.
The University will pro-rate their numbers if you move out of university housing partway into the semester (even if it's just one day). So, the earlier in the semester you move out, the better the refund from the University. Our rates are also pro-rated, so the first semester will not cost the full amount shown in this table. (There is a also $150 damage deposit, which is due the first semester that you live in the house and is refunded when you move out.)
